Island Electro (festival OPEN)

The weather had been warming up and with the combination of wanting to have a good time it was only a matter of time before Tate would push some cash in the way of someone who could provide plentiful beverage and equipment. He had only heard about Hallucination Isle through word of mouth sometime during the last few weeks, drinking in a bar with a bleached blonde woman who was quite willing to show him the sights of the city. She was a distant memory however as he had waited for the tide to lower on the day of the intended date, ditching her for someone who wasn't so dimwitted at the time he had thought about how he could have some fun.

The tide was indeed low enough to expose the sandbar which provided access to the island and after several hours tripping back and forth Hallucination Isle held the perfect location for a gathering. They had generators to support the powering of the equipment, a Dj set up with a long mix which would ensure the party would last until dawn. There were smoke machines and strobe lights strategically constructed in such a way that they shone down from the tropical trees above, illuminating the party space in time with the music as it pumped from the speakers. It may have been spring but this party had the feel of a hot and sweaty, sexy summer night, Tiki torches set along the path of the sand bar and around the party area, a small pool to the right of the festival type space which had been dug out and was filled with the refreshing ocean surf as each wave pushed water in through sand trench and then into the pool.

As the sun had set Tate had taken a moment to concentrate, using his elemental manipulation to alight the torches like dominoes. He watched as the first few groups of party goers made their way across the sandbar, carrying with them bags and water coolers full of drink and snacks. Pouring a beer from a freshly tapped keg he nodded at the dj who had begun their set. He had stuck around for most of the day, setting up his own tent and camping space not far from the festival space since he figured he'd be there most of the night. having set up equipment he had eventually tucked his singlet into the loop on his board shorts, the air cool in contrast to his body warmth as it hit his skin.

In the distant past it had been unusual to envision Anastasia out and about in such an environment unless she had a very important and specific reason to warrant stepping into the atmosphere but as time had changed amongst many other things there she was. Black hair with mahogany highlights a contrast to the frangipani tucked above her ear. Toes sunk into the sand as water washed lightly up across the sandbar, the sunset providing a beautiful backdrop to the evening. The breeze was cool against her skin, pressing against the green ombre sarong which was tied loose around her hips as a short skirt, wearing a striking white bikini to contrast. Her arms were folded as she walked, clutching two bottles of white wine and plastic cups in a brown packaged bag which would no doubt help her to surrender to the general atmosphere. A lot of things were indeed changing and her intentions were no different, intent on letting her hair down and partying.
