Morning, when the sun begins cresting on the horizon while her love, the moon departs to give his love her take on the sky. Basking the earth below in her heavenly warmth. Dew was still clinging to the blades of grass by the time the sun broke free of the horizon and slowly made way into the sky. The birds had been awake since before the sun had shown, the sky had still been painted colors of navy blue and by the time the flyers were ready to begin the day it had become a magnificent painting with hues of burgundy, peach, and violet. It was to be a beautiful day.

While the land sprung to life on this day there was one that seemed less than excited. A black wraith moved her way through the forest, heading towards a clearing. Rabbits and other vermin scattered in fear before the demon passed through. It was not uncommon for a beast such as she to move through the foliage with such a deadly grace; and yet, the lesser beings seemed to stay hidden much longer after she had passed by. Eclipse was, not interested in their meager rations there was bigger prey on the menu this morning.

The leather on the tip of her nose twitched as she lowered it to the ground to trace her steps. Things have changed over the last couple years but there was always one thing that seemed to remain the same. The pull of true home within the heart of the beast. Her obsidian coat shimmered with iridescence as she rid herself of water droplets that had fallen from the willow she had found herself stopped under.

"Typical.."

The vixen sighed to herself a she lowered her rump to the cool ground and proceeded to look around. The long limbs of the willow making her but a shadow behind a green curtain that blended in to the trunk of the magnificent tree. Black orbs took note of what was around her. There was little breeze to bring scents to and fro, the dew that would be beginning to evaporate soon made it so scents would have a firm grip and not be easily swept away.

Her head tilted with a curious thought as to who, or what still roamed these lands. The familiar smell of a love left unjust seemed to hang in the air along some trails she passed over. That same fire and earth smell seemed to coincide with several other scents she had come across which only made her heart twinge further with having to potentially face the ones she had left so long ago. The thought alone made her ears twist back.

With a long drawn out sigh, the femme lifted herself from her seated position and moved up to a large, but low hanging branch. It was thick enough to support her weight plus one or two others and the ideal location allowed her to keep a watchful eye and ear out on her surroundings. Without the wind to hinder anything, she should easily be able to determine when someone is approaching. It was here, at her perch, that phantom took to waiting; for however long it might take, for something, or someone to make the first move.

Eclipse was back and not the same wolf she was before. Time had changed some about the once Alpha of a great pack but not enough to make her forget where she had come from and regain what was once hers. The side of her lips twisted up in an unusual smile before she raised her head and lifted her song into the heavens.

"Take notice, I have returned.."

Without a breeze the words might not have made it far, but the bay of the temptress was backed up by power to move it forward for miles so that any who might wish to wonder across her path.

Once the tune had ended she settled on her stoop and continued to wait patiently.

As the fading strains of her howl had reached him, his head snapped up from where he had been taking a nap in the sun, atop a mountain peak. "Who in the he- Eclipse!" Blade realized upon actually waking up and recognizing the strain of the song. "Now where is she?" He thought, casting his sight out through the darkness he had pulled to himself, in order to search out her location. It took him a few seconds longer then it would have, had she been on proper pack lands, but, she had been gone long enough, that she may not consider herself welcome anymore. As a result, he could understand why she stood on the border, howling out a greeting for any who may hear, which, in these, strange days, may not have been the best idea. "Got her!" Blade exclaimed happily as he vanished into the darkness.

"CLIPSE!" Blade exclaimed, loudly, as he exploded from the shadows, and flew across the small opening to wrap his friend up in a massive bear hug, or would it be a wolf hug? Anyway, as he wrapped his arms around her, he lifted her from her feet, and spun. "Your back!" He said happily, seeming almost like a puppy in his exuberance at seeing her return. He sat her down after a few moments, then, releasing her, he stepped back to get a better look at her. "You are looking great Eclipse, and, well, as it is probably obvious, I, at least, am glad to see you back in the area." He said with another monstrous grin on his face.

Somewhere in the sea of trees, hidden within the depths of a familiar land a maw is deeply gorged in the belly of a small elk. The contents of it's belly had swiftly been spilled into the long grass, and the entirety of the brutes head unto the ears has been lathered in the thickly crimson liquid that is highly regarded as sustenance for his kind.
His paws, claws cut deeply into the ground buried beneath the organs, keep him hoisted and perched steady as he tears chunks from the flesh of the fallen beast. He is not quiet, caring not for those whom dare to cross his path for he knows his strength is not in vain, or it would not have landed him such a place in the hierarchy of his pack.
Nearest him, a white raven makes small noises as it picks at a fallen eyeball rolling in the dirt. She alerts those close of her happiness within the organ, not at all deterred; much like her master; and then there is a noise. A call. Like a ghost it winds it's way unto those ears to unearth memories sooner forgotten.
Black lips, wet with blood, remain closed upon a hunk of meat as an ominous sound makes it's way up his trachea to rumble over the tongue and emanate from deep within the carcass. The tongue pushes forward, releasing the meat from his vice grip, finding he has suddenly lost his hearty appetite; and slowly, the wolf's body begins to illuminate. It begins at the tip of his tail and travels down his bodice, until his entire being has dispersed into the tiny embers alike those that raise from a fire to be carried upon a wind that was not there a moment ago.

"Cawwwww..." the sound dissipates into the distance, echoing into the willow trees. It is the only thing to announce an arrival if one knows enough to listen for it.
A round object falls. It bounces off a branch, unto another and one more before it is cradled by the soft grass below and the raven circles over head. She focuses upon a single tree containing two known subjects. One loved, the other lost.
A breeze picks up around the area, carrying upon it the small remnants of a live coal. It brushes the hanging fronds from the willow tree but leaving it otherwise undisturbed. It burns brightly, glowing here and there as it circles the trunk and the two forms once, and twice as they embrace before it begins to coalesce. A maw forms first, covered in the drying residue of his kill, lips drawn "You would dare to show yourself here." The words dripped with poison.
By the time he has finished his accusation, his head, chest and fore legs had appeared mid stride. heckles raised to points in clear indication of his discomfort and anger. For a long moment, he did not meet the gaze of either of the two; but when he did, a golden glow emanated from around the dilated pupil. That poison gaze but swept upon Blade; though laced heavily with deceit, the accusation within was not meant for the male. The two were not on the best of terms, but Benjamin would not judge his friend. There were many reasons he would embrace her- and only a few why he wouldn't. Blaze could see that the latter did not win out in this instance; and there would have been a time when he might have been the same.
He stopped advancing when those eyes fell upon the femme, burning brightly. He was not a foolish wolf; there was enough distance between them to spare and react. He was not frightened of the damsel, but he knew her to be formidable. He would not put himself in harms way if it could be helped, though his body screamed for blood. Instead, he waited. A stoic and fearful statue.

It was but a few moments before the energy around her pulsated and Blade pounced out of the shadows towards her. He had appeared too close for her to evade his hug attack. They spun, she growled and twisted her spine so that her feet were pressed against his abdomen. With one great shove she began to push herself away from him, hopefully aiding in his release of her which came not soon enough. The temptress rolled her shoulders once her feet were back on the ground and glared at Blade. Clearly he had not be able to reign in his control and continued to push boundaries when it was not accepted.

"Next time you decide to sweep someone off their feet, it might be prudent of you to find out if that person wants you to touch them".

Her words dripped like poison from her maw as she rolled her head slightly to readjust a few vertebrae along her spine that screamed in anger at the onslaught. It was at this time that her nose caught a scent upon the breeze that ebbed and flowed through the willows tendrils followed by the coal that flickered upon it. A devish smirk played upon her lips as she moved back from Blade to give herself some space and a voice broke out.

Eclipse's tail lashed behind her and her heckles raised as the brute made his appearance. Clearly on his high horse with the audacity to act as if this was his land.

"You might want to check your scent markers, Blaze as when I checked this was not part of your land and therefore, anyone can freely walk upon it. Or do you have some sort of claim to everything you think is yours?"

She snarled with the lips of her maw pulled back, exposing ivories and crimson gums in warning. Obsidian eyes glowered at the man who had been her mate once, a smirk still playing upon her maw as she watched him. He had changed, there was no doubt that would happen. While she had not fully expected him to be so arrogant there was a part of her that was itching to see how things were about to pan out. The fur along her back was raised and her ears pinned back; keeping the two males within her sights. One was ready for a fight and she would sure as hell be ready to give it to him should the need arise. The coppery aroma of blood that clung to the beasts maw only added to the dames own bloodlust. She was only a little hungry, not starved by any means for food. The muscles along her body twitched with the anticipation of a brawl, sending a shimmer of iridescence down her sides.

His eyebrows crooked together as she both physically verbally forced him back from her. Blade had been truly excited and happy to see her back, but, now? He was not so sure, he honestly felt a little hurt, not at the fact that she had pushed him away. He knew that he had been, at least a bit, over exuberant in greeting her, he would admit. But, what had hurt, was how venomously she had rebuked his greeting. To avoid the look of hurt showing on his face, he shifted, muscles rippling and fur appearing, as he turned from his humanoid form, directly into his lycan form. He continued moving back from her as he changed, trying to think what to say next as Blaze appeared as well.

He turned, and, in a motion very unusual for him, he actually slunk around the other male. Despite his attempt, the shock at how venomous Eclipse had been caused the hurt to show in his shoulders, slightly hunched together as he moved around behind his alpha. He didnt even say anything where he normally would have, since he knew Blaze had seen her, almost, bodily throw him off of her despite his distinct advantage in size. He he actually chosen to have held her in that embrace, she would have indeed been hard pressed to get away from him. He watched, taking small cues from her stance that she was indeed ready to draw blood, and since this was his alpha whose blood she would be drawing, he was ready to aid him in the fight against her if Blaze needed him. That is, if this encounter came to physical combat.

Benjamins eyes shifted to Blade Wolf instinctively, the movement in his sights drawing his attention for but a mere moment before they were to land back upon the iridescent female before them. Teeth, exposed by curled lips, were wettened with the lick of a tongue - a subtle sign of warning; and as Blade came to step behind his flank, Benjamin moved to the side, in front of his friend. It was not done in slight of Blades honor, but of instinctual protection from an alpha to his pack.
Benjamin could not recall a time when pain was an emotion he had felt from Blade and it only further pursued the instinct to safe guard his family. There had been enough suffering in the wake of Eclipse and no more need be shed. It would end now if it could be helped. Though Benjamin could not console his friend, he would do what he could to prevent further provocation.
Skin beneath the heckles bristled at the sound of her voice, a sound that might have once only brought with it heart ache; but that time had passed and now, it brought only memories to instill anger. Ears, erect atop the earthen crown ceased their twitched, and senses focused on the immediate threat noting both the stance in which she took and the way the strong muscles underneath flesh twitched in anticipation. She had once been an honorable wolf and would have perhaps challenged Benjamins own authority, but he noticed now that her stance was not of an authoritative nature, but that of an aggressive one. She most certainly was not the wolf they once knew - What had caused such a dramatic change? The brute remained unmoved but for his orbs as the took in her form.
"I stake no claim upon that which is not mine own, Eclipse." He replied unafraid and seemingly unbiased, "I only thought you smarter than to return to lands you turned your back on." He retorted quickly, knowing full well she would understand that he meant the entire Kumari Realm and not just Kostas Pack lands. "You would know better than all, the cowardice that lies within abandoning your own family." There was a hint of provocation hidden within the tone; but of course, she would know to that which he was referring. How far could he push her before...
Once emerald eyes, shone with a golden hue as lids narrowed to glower at the female.
"Why are you here?" He demanded bitterly after a short silence whilst a thought battered inside his mind - Give me a reason to let you live.

Eclipse lips lowered as she waited and watched the two brutes. She had gotten the reaction she wanted out of Blade, for him to back away from her. If it hurt his feelings well then he should actually get a back bone. Not everyone is sweet and innocent. Why so many wear their hearts on their sleeves was astounding to her. At one time she may have done it but that was so long ago and she had changed so that she would not be emotionally injured but such onslaughts. It made her curious what else was hiding behind Blaze's barriers for the pack. Dark orbs watched the male cautiously as he repositioned himself in front of Blade to protect him.

The dame had not come here for a fight, but Blaze's arrogant questioning and need to be superior had struck a nerve and she was done long ago with being pushed around by such creatures. One pack she had been in, the Alpha male was actually quite lazy, sending his pawns out to do his dirty work while he sat back and reaped the rewards. He had also been an arrogant bastard but at least Blaze had some gusto to him to get off his thrown and do something.

"It is none of your concern why I have returned so I would appreciate if you would quit acting as though you are my Alpha, which, the last time I checked, you are not. You may be in charge of certain individuals.."

Her eyes glanced from him to Blade and then back again to make a point.

"However, I am not one of those."

For now she would not answer his statement about fear as it was none of his business at this point in time to know why she had left. It he knew the truth he might have thought differently. So with this, his words did not cut her as he might have hoped. She lifted her head, ears forward and tail held high with the tip flicking behind her.

The queen was not going to back down or be intimidated by Blaze's comments. She was already on edge from having Blade hug her and Blaze's verbal attack. Claws flexed along the ground, making lines where they dug in as she felt the earth beneath them. The energy around them was humming with life and louder with the tension in the area. Outside of their little bubble beneath the threads of the willow tree she was sure it would be loud just not screaming as it was at that moment.

He noticed how Blaze moved in front of him, though, in perspective, it was a rather pointless gesture, as Blade still stood a good five feet above his friend in his lycan form while Blaze was in his wolf form. Though it was somewhat pointless, Blade still appreciated it, and shifted his body into a lower stance, feet spread and planted to launch forward, up and over Blaze at Eclipse. "That reclusive bitch." the thought, entirely unbidden, ran through his head, and it was quickly dismissed, chocked up to how he was feeling towards her as it was entirely unlike him. He kept his eyes on Eclipse as she and Blaze spoke.

Thick, black lips lowered to some what hide those daggers within his jaws, yet, the tips of the longest canines protruded past the hold. He did not feel much of a reason to hold a warningful stance; if either was going to attack for no reason, he was sure it would have happened by now.
Though tensions were still high, the aggressiveness had remained on a singular level and that was reason enough to not hold so much of an edge. Though the male still held his stance, ready for anything that might come his way.
"Your return is plenty of my concern. You might'n be on mine own land, Eclipse but you are far to close for my comfort."
His remained aligned with his back, level with her own and his tail was raised directly into the air. The muscles beneath the epidermis were pulled taught, as was the muscles along his back, the fur raised to fine points; not once had it lowered. "I cannot and will not try to make you leave, I do not lay claim to your actions nor that of any other; though, I would give you warning this once. Do not bring yourself near the Kostas land, nor should you engage in conflict with my family."
His head raised then, an instinctual move to place himself in a superior place than her. It was not done with hidden or obvious intentions, purely done within the consequential mind he had picked up as his time as a lone and protecting his own small piece of land from any other wolf - pack and lone alike. A gesture without thought to allow the other wolf knowledge that he was not messing around.

Although Blaze had outwardly seemed less aggressive, Eclipse could feel it in her bones that he was still as on guard now as he was when he first approached she and Blade. Her body tingled in delight as she began to take a step towards the male. Auds perched precariously high upon her crown, tail flicking from side to side but still remaining upright.

The dark coated harpy moved with grace; the same grace of authority and control she had coursing through her blood as to when she and Blaze ruled the lands side by side. As she moved across the ground her stance changed slightly. Shoulders rolling beneath her coat, eyes that were ready to pierce through Blaze's very existence softened ever so softly. One might have mistaken it to weakness had they not known the female otherwise, and these two brutes had not seen her in such a long time that they very well could have.

"Tell you what Blaze, I will make a deal with you. I will not step upon your lands without invitation; however, anything that happens beyond your boundary between myself and any of your members is out of your control a their own fault."

When Eclipse stopped she was practically nose to nose with the male. It was a dangerous move on her part but she was willing to truly test her limits at this meeting and get as close to him as possible. This close, she was truly able to take in his scent; earthy, with a brimstone undertone that one could have been mistaken for a volcanic smell. Even though the scent was strong so close to him, she would not let her guard down near him or near Blade who had seemed, sometime after she warned him to keep out of her personal space, to have shifted into his Lycanthrope form. Clearly compensating for something if he thought being taller than them would have changed anything.

The phantom smiled, a devilish smile at that as she awaited to see what Blaze would do. Her smile was that of a woman who knew what she wanted and would find her way about getting it anyway possible. Should Blaze agree to her conditions, which she thought quite fair after all she would give him his space and not cross his boarders unless invited in and his members would have to learn not to cross her path on a day she wished to have a blood bath.

Blade watched her take a step towards Blaze, and a deep rumbling growl escaped from his massive chest. Shadows were beginning to twitch around him as Eclipse spoke, none were moving near her, but the ones closest to Blaze and himself were undulating slightly in reaction to his will, though it was mildly subconscious. A portion of him wanted to simply attack Eclipse now, but, he was forcing himself to follow Blazes lead.

A low, rumbling growl slipped over a tongue held behind closed jaws, unsheathed from underneath wet black lips upon the exact moment of Eclipses direct approach; and yet, she continued. He allowed the sound to roll from his chest and finish in a softness that matched that of the damsels eyes; but he did not find a weakness in that gaze, instead he found it curious - dangerous.
Remaining unmoved, the two came face to face. Nose to nose. Within such a close proximity Benjamin could smell her - and he did. He breathed her scent, and in doing so remained unresponsive for a moment. That same stoic look upon his staunch face.
He thought about the conditions of her deal, they seemed fair enough, but there was something within the words that did not sit well with him. After a long silence he said. "On one condition - Should I find that you have made some provocation methods against my members in order for them to engage with you, you will be dealing with me."
An emerald gaze bore down upon the female and slowly, he pried his nose from hers and pulled his head upward just enough so that the base of his chin was met by that of her nose instead. It was a gesture of the seriousness that met the tone in his voice.

Her ears lifted and she smiled as he spoke. Dark eyes following his as he raised his head above hers. She'd not cower or back down but continue to stand right where she was. Before he could reconsider his words and the deal they were about to strike she nodded her head.

"It's a deal."

Eclipse gave a wide grin, the power around them flaring to life as her energy spiked - creating a whirlwind around her that combed through her fur with delicate fingers, making her muscles twitch with anticipation. As the whirlwind slowly died around the duo she lifted her snout to his chin, bumping it slightly and running her tongue out along his jaw line.

"I will be seeing you again Blaze, in a more private area. Perhaps a dark crevice where the stars seem to be out all day.."

Her words were as quiet as a whisper in the hopes that only he would be the one to hear it and potentially remember what area she was speaking about. Whether he would meet her there one day or not would be another story but for now she got what she wanted from this meeting, almost anyway. Dark obsidian eyes flashed violet as she looked at him, she admitted to herself that she had missed him every day was agony without his presence but it was not up to her at this point. She knew she had come off as the aggressor, Blade had not helped in this meeting by any means but at least she knew Blaze was alive and potentially her children.

With a flick of her tail, the temptress backed away from the duo, not turning her back to them until she was several yard away. When she did, she trotted off into the darkness of the tree line to head to a part of the forest that few and far seem to visit. She needed time to sit and ponder on the events that had just unfurled before making her next move.
