The tensions mount (Blade, Tamesis, Callahan, any others, ask one of us first)

Sometime after the wedding and the encounter with Callahan, Blade was up in a mountain valley alone.  He knew he needed to get stronger to be able to handle Callahan in another encounter.  He had chosen this valley for a specific reason, it was located just below the mountain peak that held the shrine of the great unknown, the shadowy deity that had chosen him as its disciple and vessel in this world.  He had hoped that it would see fit to grant him extra power, but, so far, nothing had happened beyond what he could already do.  He had been up here, isolated for about three weeks, and had yet to see any improvement in himself.  Granted, he had shed most of the extra pounds he had gained from the marked reduction in activity over the past few months.  This morning, however, he could feel, something, was going to change today, something was going to be different after today, he just didnt know what it was going to be.

She shook out her fur in the snow climbing up the mountain her perfect white fur keeping her blended in with the snow. Reaching out with her senses she started to feel out for her husband wondering where he could be at. "Blade I'm coming I'm worried about you please hint to me where your at. I need you." She reached the ledge resting for a moment before heading up again.

He looked up from the rock he had been kneeling on, meditating. "Im in the valley just over the ridge your on. No snow here, its under the protection of the Great Unknown." He sent to her through their connection. "Ive been training." He added, as he rose, and drew his sword again. He raised his hand, and a group of rock golems, specially crafted for him by shadow realm mages, rose in front of him, clubs of rock in hand.

She moved up over the ridge watching her husband move as he trained with rocks. She walked down the ridge changing back to human form she pulled the clothes out that were attached by the wire on her leg. She put on her under garments, and walked over to the side lines pulling a sun dress on buttoning it up. She kept watching him just loving the way his body moved. (sorry it's not long I'm packing lol)

He felt his muscles flex and ripple as he dealt blows to the rock golems as they approached him, this was the only place they would from. As the last one fell, he let his sword drop, turning to dark mist before it hit the ground. Turning, he looked at Tamesis as she finished dressing. "Hey love." He said, walking over to where his tunic was laying draped over a rock, the scars on his bare torso were easily visible if one cared to look for the. They ranged from blade wounds to claw and fang rips and tears.

He was meditating on a mountain peak in the bright light of the morning, drawing energy from the surrounding area into himself. He could feel the pulse and fluctuation in the light around him. Then, it brought him a particular sense, one that he had felt before, and been told of, but, had never connected the two of them, until now. It was the daughter of the queen of light. His eyes snapped open, he had to speak to her, try to bring her away from the beast that she was married to. He stood, brushing the dust from his suit pants, and faded into the light.
He reappeared a short distance from Blade and Tamesis. "Step away from the woman you abomination." His voice called out, strong and clear in the early morning.

She turned facing the male who called her husband an abomination. She walked into Blade's arms wrapping her arms around his waist. Looking up at him brushing her lips softly against his leaning back she whispered, "I love you baby." After giving her mate the affection she wanted to show him with the other male present she turned to face him. "Callahan is it? I think we've all come the conclusion that I am not your missing princess. Your blonde and blue eyes, and I have black hair and emerald green eyes. I think it's safe to say that if I was any ones missing princess it'd be the shadow realms." Her frustration was beginning to build flames licking up her forearms.

As the golden hair man appeared, an unconscious growl emanated from deep withing Blade's chest. With Tamesis touching him, she should have been able to feel the rumble. It was a sound as if someone were tearing apart the bedrock itself. He went to move towards the man, to put himself between Tamesis and him, but, he found his muscles locked in place. He pushed against the lock, but it just made him tremble slightly.

"Oh, you are not a princess, by any means. You may have once been, but the influence of that beast has corrupted your mind. No, not a princess, but, you will be taken by the Light, and returned to your proper home, the Light Plane." He said with an air of condescension. "When you are taken, you will be given to the Chosen Champion. And from him, you will bear the Savior, the one who will lead the final campaign against the foul Darkness, and finally wipe its filth from the face of all existence." He said, with a factual tone.

She looked at Callahan trying hard to hold back her laughter failing miserably she started laughing wrapping her arms around her stomach. Finally gaining her breath back she looked up at Callahan, "I hate to burst your bubble, but it isnt going to happen. Not now, and certainly not ever." She raised an eye brow, "Honestly it would take nothing short of a miracle to get me into the Light Plane. This Champion person can find his own mate because Ive found mine." Her flames started reaching up her body until it was fully consumed her hair dancing on the wind of her flames her green eyes burning brightly with anger, "Now dont try to tell me what will happen because they tried before, and all I did was destroy their entire plane." Her green eyes twinkling with barley controlled anger, "I will go to the light plane for the sole purpose of taking it, and everyone there down with me."

At the mention of Tamesis being forced to bear someone else children, he felt his anger rise. Tamesis was his mate damn it! No one else would get her with child but him! He threw his anger at whatever invisible bonds were holding him in place, and he began to visibly shake. 'Good, good my child' a deep voice said in the back of his mind. 'Feel the anger, it will give you the strength that you have been questing for. The beast shall be unlocked.' He heard the words, but he also knew the voice, it was the voice the Great Unknown used to speak with him, so he dismissed it. He threw his full mind and anger at the restraints, regardless of whatever his god told him, he would kill this interloper. As he fought against them, his growl deepened even further, approaching a level that it was hard to believe was capable of being produced within his body. As his anger rose, the light level began to slowly, imperceptibly, change, getting darker as the shadows began to appear restless.

"Awe, look at the big dumb animal, he wants to attack me, I can see the murder in his eyes. But he just cant seem to over come his fear of me, even to protect you. Why, I imagine I could bring in a small squad of legionaries, to take you away, and he would probably flee in terror, just like he did last time he encountered them." He laughed, "Good beast, you should be afraid of your superior beings." At her words of taking it down, Callahan let out a sort derisive laugh. "Ok, there are two things you should know." He said, holding up a hand. "The first, is that should you, of all people set foot in the Light Plane without an escort, you would be instantly set upon and captured." He held up a second finger, "And the other, is that what makes you think you would be his mate?" He chuckled at this term. "You have lost your privilege to continue to live beyond giving birth to the Savior." He let his hand return to his side. "And another thing you should know, is that after you have given birth, you will have officially outlived your usefulness. Once that happens, you will be executed like the animal you have become." He smiled. "Oh, that will be a grand affair, would you like me to describe just how the execution team will cut you down?" He said with a chuckle.
