Where Wolves May Roam (Tag: Veita, Benjamin).

It had taken them some time, a little more than Cayden had expected though after a couple hours of trudging through the Crisithian Delta, across the Rayoden Cliffs and further over the Tresiam Clearing; Cayden finally found he'd brought her far enough into the heart of their pack lands to be confident in slowing their pace. Kalia Falls held something of an interest to Cayden specifically as Aulan herself had told him about the place though he hadn't yet moved so far inland and given it's apparently desirable falls and waterholes to swim in, he hoped it might cure Veita of the worry that Cayden had noticed had been bothering her since they'd crossed the border. "Relax a little Veita..." Cayden whined as he moved to nudge her cheek with his head in a playful and as comforting a manner as he could manage, "This is home to me these days, you'll always be welcome here as far as I'm concerned. We just need to introduce you to the others..." His tone faded somewhat as he glanced about the Kalia Falls curious to note that it seemed they were relatively on his own, not necessarily a bad thing as it meant a few more hours spent together and away from outside influence or interruption.

Much of the creek bed had been formed of flat rock of which Cayden had began to move across. What wasn't rock had softened and broken up into sand banks that surrounded the rock wall of the cliff where the falls poured down close by filling the area with almost crystal clear waters, fresh unlike that of the sea ocean around Muchani's Port-land districts.
"You should try this, the humans have funny tasting water but there's nothing like the natural stuff..." He huffed a soft chuckle, little more than a heavy breath in swift and amused expression before moving to lower his head to the waters surface, lapping up the drink given the distance they'd so far covered in the day. In hind-sight perhaps he should've explained the lengths they were to walk though had he done so, he wondered whether or not Veita would've followed him. This was after-all very unfamiliar territory for her.

The longer they moved for the more alert Veita became, she was surprised that no one had come across them or that they had not seen any life so far other then the sound which made them flea earlier. She drunk in all the sights that they moved through and had to admit the further they moved the more beautiful their surroundings were becoming. It was no difficult to work out why they had chosen to stay here. The land was plentiful and she was sure it would not be hard to find prey in such a living area.
The sound of water grew as they moved closer to what appeared to be falls, it's scent was refreshing and clean, as clean as the water appeared to be she looked down at it unsure if she had ever seen through water with such clarity.
"Uh, sorry" she pulled her maw into a slight smile as he asked her to relax, she had kept her worries to herself not wanting to stress him out but it seemed that he picked up on it anyway. "It is a lovely place Cayden"

She moved over to one of the rocky edged coming up close to him when he started to explain about the water he seemed amused by it and she couldn't help but become infected with it, her smile growing slightly as she moved her head downwards dipping her muzzle into the water feeling the cool upon her fur she took a refreshing drink, having grown a thirst in their travels.
Drawing her head upwards she moved to him and shook her head making sure to sprinkle and spray him before she ducked off jumping across to another rock.

His head rose following Veita's movement and as he turned to look to her, his eyes were momentarily forced shut and he threw his gaze down as she sprayed him, "Pfah.." He made something of a grunt and a snort in surprise though before he could move to nip out at her with his jaws in jest, she'd already sprung away and his teeth meat with air to give off a hollow chomping sound, huffing through his nose, he couldn't help but smirk back at her as he began to move to follow. Had Veita the notion to turn to look about the place, the Kalia Falls curved around to become something of a private corner within the cliff-ace and even beyond Cayden's knowledge, the pack Den lay further back, possibly the one Aulan had previously mentioned though the last thing on his mind as he slowly stalked Veita out in open sight, a slow and mischievous chuckle escaping him as he jumped to the other rock with a slightly heavy landing.
Coming up front on, he dipped his head a little as he eyed her, moving slowly so not to drive her own as he grinned a wolfish and sly smirk, clearly enjoying himself yet finding himself lost to everything else around them; he moved to nudge his head against the left side of her own, nuzzling into her and coming to a brief stop, a sentimental and intimate moment between the two as he spoke softly to her.

"You should've kept running...". Cayden soon chuckled rather heartily as he pressed his maw against her side and nudged her with enough weight to push her into the nearby pond, off the rock completely as he laughed to himself, a little proud of he had to be honest before he himself moved to jump from the rock, submerging himself completely. When he did finally resurface again, it wasn't in his wolven form but his human one, the ability to swim much stronger with those of his human limbs, his red hair breaking the surface first before he tried to scout about for her, crimson eyes blinking away the droplets of water reigning down his face as he half expected Veita to be waiting to return the prank.

He responded with the snap of his jaws but she was long gone by then, she laughed all of the anxiety of the day melting away until she felt none of it, just the joy of being in the moment and with Cayden. It was his ability to be her soul focus which kept her wanting to be with him, he made everything simple. It didn't matter, he did.
He was moving towards her now and she took a few steps backwards before giving up, not submitting though, she just knew she didn't know her surroundings.
She stood tall and firm mischief surrounding her as he came along side her rubbing himself along the length of her side as he had done before, it relaxed her and she almost dropped her guard enjoying the intimacy of the moment before she felt his muscles tense but it was to late by then he had pushed her and she was falling with a shriek of a laugh as she hit the water.

It was cool but not cold, she resurfaced and moved to change forms as Cayden also jumped in having the same idea he changed to his human form, wolves were not designed to be in the water, humans were much more adapted to it.
Running her fingers through her hair she laughed tilting her head back to let the water wash over her, she didn't care how she looked Cayden gave her nothing to feel insecure about.
"You're damn lucky that wasn't horrible and cold" she smirked moving her eyes to meet his "Then you would have been in trouble" she splashed her hand towards him "Big trouble"

"Uh-huh!" he smirked back at her, his head bobbing up and down a little as he kept himself afloat and his gaze atop the water looking to Veita all too confidently, "I'm shaking a little, the intimidation would be killing me only...-You're way over there" He stuck out his tongue in an almost childish fashion, soon laughing and ducking beneath the water quickly as she tried to splash at him. The thought of catching a cheeky glance at her hadn't escaped him though with his vision blurred it didn't quite play out as well as he hoped so as he resurfaced with something of a sly grin, he refrained from commenting as oppose to further tempting Veita on her would-be threat, "Just what kinda trouble are we talking over there...-You gonna swim on over to me and teach me a lesson are ya'" he laughed a little as he slowly began to swim closer to her, showing little in the way of caution, his eyes locked with hers as the water rippled around him, coursing about as he waded on in approach. "You've been spending to much time with the humans if you think you can top me sweetheart...".

Cayden stopped just shy from her, allowing Veita the move should she wish to make one. "You know if this was all it took you get you naked we should've done this much sooner...", it was a wild card, a bit of a taunt though once Cayden wasn't entirely sure would be to much of a push so much so to become a little irritating; by now he hoped she's see through him enough to know his cheeky side, the lop-sided smirk that followed showing nothing but pride in the moment he held with her, his hands out at his sides, fingers breaching the surface and beckoning her to him in open and rather eager gesture, his adrenaline keeping his heart pumping rather quicker than the norm as he found her exhilarating to be around.

He started teasing her in a good nature she shook her head and laughed as he taunted, her head shook side to side as she watched him move through the water. He ducked in the water and came back up with a look on his face that indicated that he was trying to see what she had beneath the water, she laughed to herself and watched him move closer informing her all to well that she would not be able to beat him.
She rose one of her eyebrows and looked at him with a small grin "Oh you think so?" she circled her arms in front of herself moving through the water to meet him half way as he obviously was moving to meet her in the water.
She paused as he mentioned the fact that she was naked, her mouth dropped and she looked at him not having expected the comment from him, at first she didn't respond but when his hand beckoned her she laughed and swam forwards meeting him in the water.

She splashed him again for saying what he had said. She moved her hands up and poked him in the nose before quickly moving through the water with more speed then he was probably expecting. She came up behind him, moved herself up within the water and put her hands on top of his head, "Get a good look while your down there" she laughed dunking him underneath the water before she allowed him any time to respond, she let go and kicked herself off from his shoulders gliding through the water on her back, cracking up with laughter.

The touch of her skin against his was near nerve shattering, sending a pleasant shiver up his spine as he grinned a little fool-hardily back at her. A chuckle escaped him as she moved to splash him again as if the water might somehow deter him from playing the game she'd started though he blinked a little out of surprise as she poked his nose, his grin broadening as his eyes were averted down away from her hand only to blatantly stare down at her chest against his own. The words she'd spoken barely made sense, not having the moment to properly collect himself before she'd maneuvered her away around him and he finally managed to click to what she'd said before she pushed him down under. There was a pause as he was once more submerged, the water rushing up about him on all sides while he thrusts his hands open about him in order to turn, finding her in front of him once more.

Veita's feet suddenly moved and he felt one of them come down upon his shoulder applying pressure to his upper half ready to kick herself off, though as her other foot met with him, his hand took her by the ankle and while she managed to push herself off from him, it hadn't taken him long at all to pull himself up, her down into him so that he had her hips in both hands and his mouth against her navel, kissing her stomach with an ever so sly grin that she would not make out as he kept himself below. His fingers traced her skin as they crossed around and laced at her back, refusing to allow her the moment to pull away, her head clear above the water while his tongue felt the depression of her stomach and gave it a playful and intimate moment of attention. Slowly, he soon rose with a brief kick of his feet to surface once more, his front grazing lightly against his own as he sought a breath of air and the look that she'd give him in response to his antics.

His grip upon her ankle made her squeal she didn't think he would have caught her so quickly. She still slid through the water but this time in the reverse direction from where she had been heading, she laughed as her surroundings changed, Cayden taking place of the water as he moved against her. His hands warmed her skin, her hips as they rested upon them.
Then he did something unexpected, he kissed her stomach and navel, he had never shown her intimacy in such a way, it made her freeze for a moment before she broke into laughter again wriggling slightly as the tickling sensation he was causing. She didn't really want to be away from him so she didn't struggle with much strength and quickly she gave up. His hands were around her, he was holding her and she quieted, he made her feel safer then she had ever felt but he also made her feel loved and a many more emotions and feeling she wanted nothing more then to explore, though some of them were frightening.

He pushed himself, his body moving upwards and in turn along her own until he came up to meet her, he left the impression of heat over her flesh which the water slowly cooled down.
She blew water from her face and soother her hair away before placing her hands on either side of Cayden's head holding them both in place so she could look into his eyes. "Hello"

Cayden's red hair fell flat atop his head as he'd surfaced, Veita had found him within her hold and he looked back at her blinking through the water that crossed his eyes as he smiled something of an idiotic grin. His hands still laced at her back, kept her close as they bobbed up and down in the water, his breathing a little lost for air as he pulse had quickened and found himself a little lost for words. The way Veita spoke the word in such a soft, gentle yet almost searching way caused the male to hesitate, his lips moving to speak though at a loss of words, he simply smiled a little back at her feeling somewhat awkward now as it all caught up with him.

"Hey..." He muttered almost barely louder than a whisper, his crimson hues flicking about her as he looked to gauge her expression finding nothing but that same need to explore the place they'd found themselves within, unknown territory for Cayden now, the tide had turned a little as despite being in the wilds, this was certainly a first for him. His head tilted forward a little as he found her gaze once more, still wanting to be closer with her, his forehead touching with hers unable to contain his smile from widening, "Way to make a first impression huh..." He added a little out of an assumed need to break the silence though from what sounded in his tone, he no longer cared for how she felt about there environment and the lack of enthusiasm was obvious as his only priority had become in knowing how she cared for him.

They seemed to be suspended in time together in their embrace, nothing else seemed to matter but the two of them. Every sensation had been magnified within her yet they were all tuned towards Cayden and nothing else, they could have been in obvious danger and she would not have noticed even slightly.
For a moment despite his smile Cayden seemed to lose himself to something, her eyes continued to lock with his trying to read them until he moved his head to rest against her own, replying to her hello with a greeting of his own.
She smiled back thumbs caressing the side of his face in an effort to sooth them both, neither of them had been mated before so it was new territory one that as right as it felt was also frightening.
She trusted Cayden, so trusted that he felt the same way as her on the matter but his nerves seemed to be getting in his way, he cracked a joke about impressions and she made a small laugh of approval but she knew he was just trying to divert himself from his nerves and she didn't want for him to feel uncomfortable with her. The thought bothered her. She never wanted him to feel that way again, she was his.
"Shh" she whispered her grip growing on the sides of his face she moved her forehead away from his and directed his head downwards tilting her own upwards to meet his in response, she placed her lips to his not allowing time for him to think, she kissed him in a way to prove where they each belonged, it was soft yet possessive and would make Cayden all to aware just how she felt.

Veita hushed him in arguably the only way he'd ever been happily interrupted in his life, meeting his lips with hers in the a move that caused all his emotions to override his precautions and self-conscious boundaries, pressing against her in meeting the affectionate kiss, surprise quickly turning to a deep seated loss of will for anything and everything else; but her.

Her body felt so enticing within his arms, pressed up against him and bringing life about him that he hadn't entirely been readied for yet for all his former concerns, her kiss had only driven him to want more. Cayden Nekishu soon finding himself without initially realizing it, guiding her back towards the rock wall they'd leaped from, closing everything around her off to all but him and wanting nothing less; it was almost a danger the desire that shot through him spurred on by her touch yet a feeling of comfort and companionship that he'd never known before.

His heart raced, his hands had felt a slightly firmer grip upon her hips than he'd noticed; his subconscious not wanting to lose her now that he'd finally had her to himself and with it all seemingly going so well and there felt like nothing else in the world that could matter or take him from her...-His eyes opened in alarm as he held something splashing behind him. 'Oh no...' he thought frantically as he broke the kiss, looking quickly to Veita almost pleadingly before turning his back to her and looking across the waterhole, keeping close to her so not to expose her to the view of others in something of an instinctively protective display as he soon found the source of their interruption.

He couldn't believe his luck. Of all the places and all the people his father stood there leaning down over the pond lapping up the water as if nothing was happening out in front of him. Cayden's mouth opened to speak yet he caught himself as he almost wanted to whine at his father for all the bad timing he could've had in all the many universes, he'd chosen to steal away the perfect moment!

"Ngh...-Dad?..." he cleared his throat before speaking out to Benjamin a little curiously, his own tone something of a sheepish attempt not to startle his father yet wanting him to realize and perhaps leave them to it as quickly and without incident as possible. "Um...-Hey..." He added with a hesitant greeting, chuckling in his embarrassment as he threw his alpha and father something of a sideways smirk.

All moments were lost as Cayden responded to her kiss, his lips returning a heat all their own, the two becoming a furnace of energy drawing them ever closer to becoming one being. Where Veita had been nervous at the thought she now felt nothing other then trust, she gave herself over to Cayden allowing him to pull her with more force against himself as they moved back towards the side of the falls. Her pulse had quickened rushing her heart beat through her ears but she also felt his own powerful rhythm.
Her lips did not break from his they possessed them as his arms possessed his body and nothing had ever felt so important.

Not once had it ever crossed her mind that they could possibly be exposed and caught out but Cayden broke his hold from her leaving her confused, she looked at him breathless but soon felt alarm as he blocked her from sight. Someone was there, she placed her hands on Cayden's back but froze as he spoke the word 'Dad' her jaw dropped. Of all things possible it was his father who found them, she suddenly felt exposed and ashamed of the position she had been caught in "Oh God..." she turned her back to press it against Cayden's to make sure Blaze could not see her, her arms covering herself the best they could "Cayden?"

He glanced to his left, looking over his shoulder to Veita as best he could without further exposing her to his fathers line of sight though Benjamin sounded as if he was struggling to keep himself from falling into the hole of embarrassment the two younger ones had found themselves in already. "It's alright babe...-Might be an idea to change out again, that's my old man...." he responded to Veita's seemingly pleading to him, the change referring to her wolven state as it meant she was shielded from at-least a little of her embarrassment.

His eyes moved to turn back to that of Benjamin as he chuckled quietly under his breath, a hand lifting to scratch the back of his head in awkward demeanor, speaking up in something of an apologetic tone, "I didn't realize anyone else was here....-We've been here a little while. Twenty minutes or so?". The question soon crossed him in wonder to which direction his father had come from, not knowing about the pack den aside from Aulan's suggestion that he might find one of his own in the area, he tilted his head a little as he looked back to Blaze, "What're you doing here anyway?...". Unlike his companion, Cayden didn't seem overly bothered by being so exposed given that his father was a male too and the human body didn't strike him as something to be so bothered about hiding in front of members of his family sharing the same sex. Perhaps it was just his lack of experience pretending to partake in the life of the human-kind though for him, it seemed to lesson the anxiety in the air around them, his care more concerned for Veita who'd brightened a little in her cheeks as he turned a little to look back at her once again, sneaking a quick pinch to her backside while she was facing away from him, a slight snicker escaping his lips.

Blaze's reaction just made it worse, she had suspected him to become stern at their intrusion or even tell Cayden off but he seemed embarrassed t hat just made her cheeks burn even more, she buried her head in Cayden's back and just wished for the falls to swallow her up and spit her own in the past before Blaze had spotted them in such a position. She rolled her eyes and shook her hidden head when Blaze apologized, it was her that needed to, she was on his land for the first time and she had been caught in such a way, but she just couldn't bring herself to say anything. It had been the first time she had ever had such contact with anyone in her life and she had been caught, she couldn't believe her 'luck'
"I figured that much" she replied underneath her breath when Cayden said who Blaze was, she hadn't failed to notice him call Blaze dad or the fact that on some level they resembled one another.

He told her to transform and she sighed inward at herself for not having considered doing it the moment they had been interrupted, she was just still in to much of a tail spin from her and Cayden's embrace.
Cayden had gone on to questioning Blaze when he turned and pinched her on the bum, she let out a little shriek of surprise and hit Cayden on the shoulder "Cayden!" she quickly took her wolf form finding that very difficult in the water then swam to the edge, climbing out looking a little sodden and flat, not how she hoped to look upon meeting Cayden's father. "Hello..."

He moved to follow, a faint smirk across his face as he watched Veita hop up out of the water, doing the same in his human form before moving to make the shift between that of the human and his natural wolven form, reverting back to that which he was most comfortable whilst his father got the discussion started rather eagerly giving him the impression he was a fair bit more caught off guard and embarrassed than he was actually showing.
Cayden's form quickly disfigured as his bones and muscles snapped, tore and reshaped themselves, bringing himself down to all fours, his eyes becoming much more akin to the animal world, fingers and toes becoming clawed, paws stretching out against the stone and scratching at it, soon before he bent his back, arching his body and releasing something of a lazy yawn; a shake of his head before he'd be ready to jump in on the conversation.

"Such a charmer..." He threw Benjamin a half smirk, barking lightly in jest as he moved to stand side by side Veita, his eyes moving to look to her, "Don't let it fool you..." He chuckled quietly, moving to nuzzle up against her cheek with the top of his head in a light and affection bunt.
Sitting beside her, falling to his hind quarters, his eyes moved back to that of Benjamin, speaking up aloud though in a humbled tone, he addressed his father regarding her being within the pack grounds; though he'd given no hostile reaction leaving Cayden to think he was fine with it, he continued regardless. "This is Veita...-She's not had a good run out in the wilds, she was a loner like I am so go easy on her...", the end of his sentence holding something of a warning edge to his tone, his eyes reflecting a subtle hint of concern, he kept them locked with his fathers knowing that Benjamin would find the sincerity behind his anxieties, doing nothing to make it obvious to her, Cayden soon chuckled softly as if it were all for his amusement, glancing back to Veita "This is the Alpha of the Kostas Pack. My family".

"...-And she.." He glanced back to his father in additional introduction, "Is the one thing that I will kill for without thinking twice".

Blaze explained himself to the both of them and he seemed very formal to say the least. It didn't do much more to sooth her embarrassment in a way it made it worse sort of small in a way, something she wasn't used to but it made a little of what made Veita, Veita stir within her stomach and she rose her head to look at the male head on all shame falling away her body changing in a subtle way to hold itself up with the usual pride she carried herself with, when around Cayden she was different her guard was let down, she however did not know Blaze and would no longer appear weak in front of a wolf she did not know.

Cayden arrived in his wolf form now, she had been paying attention to Blaze, he nuzzled into her cheek and she moved her face into his but her eyes still remained on his father who he had now confirmed Alpha of the area.
"Hello Blaze" she would have introduced herself but Cayden well away with it, informing the both of them.
She half smiled at his enthusiasm towards their meeting. "It's nice to meet you" she managed to slip in the words somewhere between their greetings then Cayden informing Blaze he would kill for Veita.
Her eyes wondered to Cayden then for a moment then back to Blaze to watch his response knowing it could go one of two ways. His father could be either welcoming of the fact or see it as a potential threat and weakness in his son she frowned at the thought of being Cayden's weakness as she awaited what Blaze would have to say.

"Like I used to be..." Cayden quickly chimed in response to his fathers questioning him. Perhaps this how pack thing still hadn't entirely sunk into him, he'd made the comment misinterpreting his complacency for being part of something larger than himself though he couldn't ignore his former life before entering the Kostas Pack and as Veita still lived that life, it would remain a part of his. The hope was that he'd never be forced to decide between one or the other.
The remark about there being enough of him running around caused Cayden's head to tilt, his ears perking a little as he eyed his father a little out of confusion and interest to know what he was implying though he refrained from speaking; allowing Benjamin the lead for the time as he welcomed Veita into their lands. Uncertain, he wondered how often something like this occurred. There was a strange sense of formality that Cayden hadn't been introduced to as his father left his scent upon Veita; inside it made his stomach turn over and his skin crawl though he buried it presuming that she'd no longer be at risk of being targeted by their pack-mates. Word would no doubt get around now, one who could walk freely in and out of anothers territory as they pleased weren't exactly a sight others didn't take notice of.

His father soon announced his leave, taking himself away leaving the two sitting there in the quiet once more. The moment they'd had, had been rather destroyed by the interruption leaving Cayden uncertain what to make of it all though he supposed it was going to happen sooner or later. "Well...-That didn't as I'd exactly planned it but...-I think he likes you" He chuckled quietly under his breath as he soon sauntered over to her, moving to nudge at her cheek with a playful bunt of his head, "No one's going to treat you like you're an outsider now...".

She watched the way in which Blaze looked upon Cayden and she was sure Cayden had no idea what was right in front of him, Blaze positively oozed with pride and love for his son, the very way he spoke to him or looked at him said as much but she got the feeling Cayden was almost blind to it, she wondered if Blaze had ever spoken it out loud to him, she doubted Cayden had.
He mocked his son in a light hearted manner an in turn her by stating that one Cayden was enough, she smiled polite in her response when she said nothing.
The subject changed onto her and the territory it seemed that Blaze was willing to trust Veita enough to let her into the land without even knowing her, it was a testament to how much he trusted Cayden and respected his decision.
"Thank you Blaze" the alpha male approached her and she stood firm unsure of what he was doing when he rubbed against her cheek, a moment and she knew that he had scented her marking her as safe to those around the lands. She bowed her head in thanks, it was sure to make things easier especially when Cayden didn't feel the need to protect her every moment.
He excused himself and she said a quiet goodbye before watched the male leave, it had been interesting to say the least.

Once alone her eyes found Cayden again and he moved towards her rubbing along her, it felt more natural and his scent upon her washed away any doubt she was having. She smiled with a laugh of relief and pressed herself against his side her head shaking gently.
"Yeah.. that was a bit of a shocker"

He offered something of a pensive chuckle before soon moving to shake his pelt dry, his earthen coat throwing water about both Veita and the stone around them before he settled and threw her something of a mischievous look before trotting off a couple paces and lifting his nose to the air. Cayden was curious about where his father had ducked off to and finding the direction, he paused to take true note of it before veering off to look back towards Veita with a curious remark "Well I suppose now that you've met the old man, all that's left is Maylin and my mother...". It wasn't exactly something he'd considered in any real depth but it had been meant to take a jesting stab at her. Having spoken the words however he soon paused once more this time to question himself and why he'd thought that was a smart idea; his family was a mess, himself and his sister had been at the heart of it, the sole reason his mother was back here and with Mikayla still missing...-"On second thought, let's avoid them...-You hungry?" he forced a quiet laugh before throwing a half whine with a barking edge, trying to emphasize the humor over his anxiety around his blood.

"There's a lot of other places to see and explore anyway..." He smiled back to her Wiley before moving in back in the direction they'd come. "What do you think about all of this..." He asked, looking for a genuiene response, he glanced back to Veita thoughtfully wondering if what she'd seen so far, the plains of nothing but nature, wolves and others of the like that didn't live within the confines of fences or use electricity of the like. To be honest, even if it wasn't his home, Cayden felt free in the wilds and part of him yearned to keep on the move, he'd always been that way so having so much room to live, explore and treat as his playground was more than perfect for him. That said, he'd been alone for so long before meeting Veita, it'd come to a point where he couldn't decide what mattered most to him anymore, the wilds or her happiness, her willingness to stand beside him complacent and feeling safe.

"Oh God Cayden let me recover from that first" she gasped once he mentioned his sister and mother, she was still reeling from meeting Blaze the way that she did, it was not how she expected to meet his father. It had gone well though all things considered. She looked a wet mess but she was drying off now and Blaze only seemed amused and if not a little embarrassed about it. Cayden thought it was all a joke but it was his father. She didn't really know anything about families and their dynamics other then her own which was not something she would have called functional.
Cayden changed his tune though which was a relief she was not ready to meet anyone else for at least a couple of hours. For now she just wanted to settle in with Cayden it was a lot of change for her and she didn't want to throw herself in the deep end anymore then she all ready had done.

He was excited pumping questions at her about hunger and her thoughts, she sat down watching him patiently, she always enjoyed seeing him so alive, he almost glowed it was a stark comparison to when they both first met one another.
"Let's get something to eat" she stood up again rubbing Cayden's side as she trotted off towards the rocks that led out before waiting for him to pass her and show her the way to go.
"I think that was not the way I wanted to meet your father" she chuckled lightly starting to feel a little bit better about it.
"But I am glad to have met him, he seemed to accept me which was a relief. I hope everyone else is as willing to allow me to be part of your life"

Cayden padded slowly beside her as the two moved to leave the Kalia Falls, his paws meeting the rockbed with the weight of his form sending ripples amongst the small pools of water that clung to the rocklife, truly content as he watched her move by his side, proud to know that though they'd been interrupted, he could put stock in the fact that she was his and he would be hers. "The others will be a little different..." He muttered quietly as he watched her almost adoringly though averted his gaze to their front when she'd look to catch him watching her, "My mother's going to be the most interesting one..." He continued, his tone falling somewhat quiet in a hint of intrigue for what might come, his expression shifting to become somewhat more serious as he searched the plains ahead moving towards one of the nearby forests that sheltered the open fields beyond; "She and Benjamin used to run these lands, Alpha both though from what I've been told she was encouraged to leave when she feared for us the most. I've speant most my life hating the both of them not really knowing what the hell to believe, now everything in my families all messed up. I guess you can be glad of that, it'll make your introduction a little easier knowing there's so much else distracting them I suppose..." he hoped it might alleviate some of her anxieties a little though he found himself wondering if he hadn't just put his paw in the shit. "Not that you're any less important than anything else around here, not saying anything like that at all..." His ears drew back a little as he glanced off elsewhere, hiding his sheepishness, making something of a half whine / half growl in attempt to shake himself out of the momentary awkwardness.

"Anyway...-Sure it was a little...-Well.." He chuckled warily, turning to look back to her, his head nudging up against the side of hers, offering a slight bark in playful jest, "atleast he'll know his son has good taste, right?".
